Sleek! Safe riding :)
Congratulations 🎉. Enjoy it.
Level out those handlebars! My wrists hurt just looking at them
Nice bike! I've been thinking of getting that top tube bag. Is it good? Is it big enough for a phone?
Phones are so huge nowadays that you'd really need a large bag. I prefer to keep it in my jersey pockets and only keep a spare tube and a multitool in my seat bag.
I did however get a front bag, and it's pretty neat to store bananas and a sandwich (I'm getting sick of sweet bars on rides), but it's very non-aero. The front bag has plenty of space for a phone as well.
Yeah I was looking for a bag to use when I'm riding with more casual friends and want to wear something more casual like a normal sport t shirt without any pockets. I might get a front handlebar bag then.
I have an iPhone 12 max and let me tell ya, this thing is massive and heavy when it comes to putting it in a saddle bag. However, I found a nice Rock Bros saddle bag that fits it along with all the tools and accessories ETC. Which I learned, the hard way, that you might as well pack it all even if you have a buddy with you cause they weren’t willing to share their spares, lesson learned. And yes I tried the jersey pocket for it but it’s so heavy as I stated and looks terrible and feels like it’s dropping down my back even in my most secure jersey pockets.
In a cycling position when you lean forward, the phone will be safe in the rear jersey pocket. If it's still jumping around even then, you probably need a tighter jersey. I use the saddle bag only for a tube and tools. It's fine in a front bar bag, but when I need that I rather fill it up with food.
My phone is just slightly smaller than yours and about 40g lighter, and it sits in my rear-left pocket just fine. Idk, get a smaller/lighter phone :D
If it doesn’t bother me in my saddle bag and fits more then enough stuff, why does it matter?
Edit: didn’t know it’s mandatory to have your phone in your jersey pocket
I thought you couldn't find a saddle bag that's big enough, i read that wrong, sorry
just use your jersey pocket
Why are your handlebars pointing up?
Maybe they're not sure how to set them up properly. It is their first bike after all!
Congrats on your new bike, nice looking bike you got there. Safe riding
how much does it weigh
So, how was your ride, did you enjoyed it?
