Can confirm. Put mine through the wash. Let it dry for a day, put fluid back in it and it lit like a champ.
there are videos on youtube of people submerging them for awhile and they still light with the same fuel. same with freezing them. if you take the replaceable parts out, they’re just metal.
Put it in rice to expedite the drying process (like a cellphone)!
