True. Grinding Lands really earned that name at the start of Iceborne. Also I want those little weapon trinkets back. They did nothing, but I loved having them.
I still don't like the Guiding Lands honestly. It's fun until you suddenly need a single material that requires completely flipping your region levels
I do like the base idea though, I hope they refine it in the future
Honestly I don't think Iceborne or Sunbreak are capable of being objectively better than each other since the gameplay is so different due to the wirebug. It just comes down to preference now
I was gonna say, i can power through work tomorrow with some cafeine. The 1.5 hrs i would normally have before going to be after it downloads is simply not enough.
I can but there are some problems:
- My PC is still running a 2C/4T CPU (Pentium G4560) with GTX 750 TI. I don't think my PC can run it at even constant 30 FPS. I heard that Elden Ring's PC Port is unoptimized. I don't have any gaming device but a PC and a Switch.
- I need to save my money to even upgrade those thing. I good a good deal from my brother where I can purchase his old computer that comes with 6th gen i5 (Yes, I know. I don't care). and GTX 1070 which should be good enough.
- I have many (indie) games I purchased to complete like Omori and Bug Fables once I take a "break" from Rise since I want to purchase Sunbreak when it is on sale (It is quite long but I bought Rise just a month ago).
- Due to its reputation, I feel like Elden Ring is much harder than Iceborne's Master Rank so I'm not confidence enough with my skill. I haven't watched any gameplay videos of Elden Ring so I could be wrong.
Those are a lot of good reasons. Except the last one though. Thanks to ERs GENIUS design, it can be as easy or as hard as you like. Being souls vet i bashed my way through the beginning bosses b/c i wanted to, and this resulted in the game demanding perfection of my play. I however have a coworker who already has 30 hours and he hasn't met Margit yet (the first legacy boss) and will likely stomp him regardless of having to trade due to his level being so much higher

This year is an amazing year for gaming. Souls and Monster Hunter as well as a lot of good updates for looter shooters like Destiny and Warframe
Destiny 2 isn’t pay to win, but there’s lots of pay walls to access all content. You’ll need to buy the legacy bundle and witch queen deluxe+30th anniversary to access it all probably 150$.
Destiny 2 is an amazing game but people tend to write it off and never go back because of something someone said. I can think of many times where people who don’t mind spending the money for the current content can’t believe they slept on the game. You’ll have 100s if not 1000s or hours worth of fun so it pays for itself.
Destiny 2 is at monster hunters level of build crafting. Honestly it’s better just doesn’t have a build saver so you can use 3rd party apps that interact with your save profile. Nothing can be deleted unless in game and if you use 2 factor identification your account is safe.
Weapons can have mods(decorations) attached, they can be crafted now. Armor has lots of synergies with news mods(decorations) that cause crazy builds. Just the other day 1 million people were logged into Destiny 2 for PvE content alone
I’m concerned when I try to play Rise again, that multiplayer *still won’t work.*
I don’t get it, it did on release, and every other Switch game works online, but Rise now never lets me load into a multiplayer quest…
Kicks me back out when loading into a hunt. :(
Any error codes? Have you tried to reinstall if not physical copy or make sure it's fully updated? Heck even test doing local multiplayer if you can. There's something you're not doing to let it connect if all your other games are working. Test some stuff out and do the general troubleshooting, if that doesn't work contact Nintendo support.

I’ll be honest, it’s been a while since I tried so I can’t remember exact text - just that it would let me into the online hub, accept an online quest, and then kick me out on the loading screen.
I remember it was like this before and someone suggested that *new* MH uses a different NAT type, but then it ended up working again on its own for a while.
Fully updated (as of last attempt).
Had a bit of a burnout with MH recently so as I say, it’s been a while. Just following the series again now Sunbreak is around the corner. Hopefully it works at next shot, if not then yeah I may have to contact Ninty.
Step 1) hit the home button and "connect" to your internet.
Step 2) create a lobby
This should resolve whatever weird issue is happening. Thank me later.

I saw my dad fighting fatalis and I wanted to beat fatalis so I attempted as much as my barely 1 year old ass could say “Noddle” (think it came out Nodl) and so he wanted me to fight him. I lost as expected but since then been inspired to play all monster Hunter games released to west and some that was Japan exclusive
I am so glad I took 10 days off at work for when it comes out. Bonus is that they are paid vacation days so I will be being paid to have the time of my life 😁
