Why do you have the urge to come across like you hate the game when you're here commenting every day and likely playing just as much?

If all you did was delete the game from its folder, it would still have a dedicated path to follow. Make sure you either pick the correct file path to install or delete all folders involved before reinstalling. Idk if I'm 100% correct in this, but that was my experience with a similar issue
