Whats before and whats after also what do you feed?

jasper0513

First picture is before. Family friend gave him to me because he was being bullied by all the other fish in their tank and wouldn’t eat. We all assumed he was stunted since he hadn’t grown for close to a year. He would only eat frozen bloodworms when he first came home. He wouldn’t even touch pellets for months but he eventually warmed up to them and now he is a very aggressive eater. I feed a bunch of different brands and formulas. Bug Bites Color Enhancing formula, Hikari Discus Bio-Gold, Hikari Vibra Bites, Sera O-Nip, Sera Discus Granulat, New Life Spectrum Thera-A, Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets, Tropical Discus Gran, and Tetra Color Tropical Granules. I also feed frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, and beef heart. I try to feed pellets two or three times a day and a frozen food once a day. This has definitely worked out for me as all my discus are huge, especially this guy.

darkbacon567

Awesome he’s definitely looks bigger in the 2nd pic only thing that threw me off was hes more colorful in the first picture but maybe thats the camera

Gephyrus204

That is the key. Water changes water changes water Changes. Northfin makes great products. I have their veggie pellet arriving shortly.

BewareOfBlast

NorthFin have great products but amateur sales people. They can't comprehend how to sell overseas.

GodzillaFlamewolf

Extram pret! What variety?

jasper0513

He’s a blue diamond

BewareOfBlast

That tank is WAY too small for that Discus!

jasper0513

It’s a 75 gallon tank. The general rule is ten gallons per discus and there are 5 in the tank.
