There are terminals that do this. The big boys have them but they still rely on released public info. Otherwise, wouldn't you still be just as late? Unless you have insider's information at which point the SEC will want to have a chat, this isn't what you think. Try Google alerts. It's free and set notifications to as they happen.

Just google biopharam catalyst and you’ll find plenty of services. All the dates are already there and you can even have notifications in Webull and yahoo. So I won’t see any usability of your service.

It’s cool and all but it won’t give you an edge in trading FYI

sledgemasterd

i have been trying to get that info but also how much of an impact that bio news will have. theres a lot of garbage out thereits hard to decide which info is pertinent or not

I totally agree. You can find everything online but at the same time %90 of you find online is garbage. Same for stocks. People speculate a lot and they usually have a bias for their own stocks. That is why I only monitor Twitter streams of the company itself and also CEO, chairmen/women, C-levels, etc. Not all news has the power to change a stock price so I am filtering them as much as possible. Are you interested in using it and giving me feedback on how it can be more beneficial for biotech investors? u/sledgemasterd

u/Sonny1738 u/syd-slice u/swerve408You are absolutely right. Thanks for your feedback. There is no way to know things unless it is public. I don't have any connections from insiders to get info either:) It is not legal, as you say. My starting point was, I have seen a couple of biotech companies in Europe sharing some announcements with my local time at 4 am PST. Obviously, I was sleeping, and when I woke up, the stock had already surged more than %100. What would have been if I woke up at 4 am and put a "buy order"? I am not sure how order flows are executed on exchanges, but I could have made some profit? Then I did a small service that follows the company's Twitter accounts and sends SMS to my phone if they share something important. The service not only checks official accounts but other accounts such as CEO, board members, chairmen/chairwomen, etc., as well. I also see that they make announcements for conferences, which hint that things can move on that conference)I am asking people to see if they would use such a service and benefit from it. That is why I am trying to understand people's challenges and pain points.

Chances are the stock had already halted before the news came out. The best thing to do is fine the company before the news, do your due diligence, and then hope for the best.

My point is not sneaking insider info. It is more about using the public info in a timely manner. **Example**: **\[March 10, 2021, 1:33 PM PST\]** Official Rubius Therapeutics Twitter account @ rubius\_tx : We are pleased to announce that we will be presenting initial clinical results from our ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical trial in advanced solid tumors at AACR's Virtual Annual Meeting in April **\[March 12, 2021, 1:33 PM PST\]** Official Rubius Therapeutics Twitter account @ rubius\_tx tweets: $RUBY to host a webcast on Monday morning to review initial clinical data from our ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical trial in advanced solid tumors. Market reacts in a different way than what you think. Not every stock gets 100% instantly with a news. And even if you have tried to buy just after the news it would have already been jumped. I’ve tried many times but it doesn’t work MM gets such news in mill second delay and you won’t be able to compete against them. Instead of throwing darts at every news try to find better companies and invest at them on long term basis. Your account will move slowly but it will move.
